Our Story
How we Started
Biodiversity Rescue Club is a youth-led organization based in Calabar, Nigeria. The organization was founded in 2022 with the vision of an Earth where all life forms have a natural opportunity to live. Nature and biodiversity loss—one of the three planetary crises—is our focal point. We address this challenge through restoration activities, advocacy, and education.

How we Operate
1. Planet (Ecosystem Stewardship)
Deploying active field projects to restore endangered coastal wetlands, manage invasive species, map native biological nurseries, and protect vital regional forest canopies from fragmentation.
2. Grassroots Mobilization
Cultivating environmental literacy by organizing local volunteer networks, establishing interactive school Conservation Clubs, and driving regional advocacy campaigns to awaken public action.
3. Long-Term Resilience
Partnering with coastal community stakeholders and nature-positive enterprises to establish sustainable livelihoods, build capacity, and secure institutional resilience independent of short-term funding loops.
